If it is warming up, then that means the spring and summer festivals are gearing up. One of the first is this weekend, the 34th annual Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival in Tama. The festivities actually start tonight at the Tama Civic Center with a new event sponsored by Tama County SKIP, Pizza With Police.
As a matter of fact, the carnival will actually be open after school tonight and tomorrow night, along with all day Saturday. Also back this year is a Friday night street dance. A parade is at 10 Saturday morning, with all kinds of entertainment throughout the day on Saturday.
