Jenny Risner has been named the new Superintendent of Ames Community Schools after a 5 to 2 vote by the school district board Friday morning. Risner has been the superintendent of Ocean Beach School District in Ocean Beach, Washington.  She will take the place of retiring superintendent Tim Taylor.
