A big night for Luke Appel led the Marshalltown boys to a 58-50 road victory at Des Moines Lincoln last night. A career high 33 from the 6-7 senior helped Marshalltown win for the second time in three outings.

The Bobcats girls couldn’t hold on after both post players fouled out , dropping a l 54-49 decision to Lincoln.  Erica Johnson scored a career-high 17 points and Madi Finch added her career-best of 14 points.

The Bobcats host Dowling Catholic this Friday night ; for the Bobcat girls, it will be their final regular season contest. The gals tip it off at 6:15, with the boys to follow at the Roundhouse. Both games to be described by Lance Renaud on News/Talk 1230 KFJB.
