When the parent company of Younkers announced it would be closing roughly 40 stores late last year, the rumors began. One is that the owners, Bon-Ton would close 11 stores in Iowa. The rumors were only off by 9.

Bon-Ton announced yesterday that two Iowa Younkers would be closing; in Cedar falls College Square Mall and at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids. The  store closing sales begin today.
