Kenneth Arthur’s service to his country ended nearly 70 years ago. Yesterday, the World War II veteran received six medals honoring his service from U.S. Senator Jodi Ernst. Arthur, of Newton, suffered multiple injuries during combat, including the loss of his left eye.
