The Wieting Theatre and Opera House in Toledo has been awarded a grant from the Enhance Iowa Board for Community Attraction and Tourism.

The Wieting Theatre will receive a $260,000 grant to help with its Phase II project, which includes a new addition for events, kitchen, restrooms, stage lighting and more. That 260-thousand is part of the total project cost of just over one-point-three million dollars.
