The Hawkeye women’s winning streak in the Big Ten came crashing down at the hands of 13th ranked Maryland last night. The Terps cruised past Iowa 80 to 64 in College Park, winning their 12th straight, while handing Iowa its first loss in eight outings.
Northern Iowa had a rough road trip as well, dropping a 62-55 decision at Missouri State. The Panthers are winless in the Missouri Valley and will try to correct that Sunday afternoon versus Loyola in the McLeod Center.
