The City of Marshalltown Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee heard from representatives of the consulting firm of Bolton and Menk who talked about a Parks and Recreation Master Plan that they created. Company spokesman Casey Byers says survey data indicated people are concerned with parks maintenance, and access issues more than anything. This is intended to be a ten year plan to be used as a guiding document. It will be sent on to the full Marshalltown City Council for approval and will be put into motion.
