The Marshalltown High School volleyball team swept Fort Dodge at home at the Roundhouse last night by scores of 25-12, 25-20 and 25-17. MHS improved to 8-5 overall and 5-1 at home this season. The girls swim team went on the road to Dowling Catholic and lost 146 to 39. The cross country runners went to West Des Moines Valley to compete, the girls finished 8th the boys 10th. The football team plays Friday night at Waterloo West, airtime on KFJB is 6:55, kick off at 7:30. There will be an edition of the Quarterback club at noon Friday at O’Hungry`s. The girls swim team will compete at Grinnell tomorrow night at seven.
