Authorities in Marshalltown report acts of vandalism at Mega-Ten Park where work to refurbish the park was recently completed. Repairs will be made according to the Marshalltown Parks and Recreation Department. The acts of vandalism apparently happened during the course of the Independence Day Holiday time frame. The rubber surfacing was damaged and graffitti was written in permanent marker. The playground area will be closed as repairs are made.
