The Marshall County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday presented information about the 24 million dollar county budget, they also amended the present budget and adopted the budget for the next fiscal year. Supervisor Dave Thompson says the millage rate is down 24 cents from last year but things could change by the time next year rolls around based on what the state of Iowa will do from their budgetary standpoint. The Supervisors also heard a presentation on plans to upgrade the two elevators at the Marshall County Courthouse and get them modernized.
