James White scored the game winning touchdown for the Patriots who were down at one point 28-3. New England rallied with 19 fourth quarter points including a pair of two point conversions. This was the fifth NFL title for the franchise which dates back to the days of the old American Football League. Tom Brady was named game Most Valuable Player, he was 43-62 in the passing department for 466 yards and two touchdown passes. The Patriots ended up a record of 17-2.
