The Marshall County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. They had a busy day that included canvassing the votes that were cast in last Tuesday`s election in Marshall County. Preparations are being made to showcase the history of the Courthouse in tours that will be offered Friday and Saturday afternoons. Organizer Lisa Gassman says some historic artifacts will be on display and there will be a mini documentary shown. The tours are from 1 p-m to 4 p-m each day. Meanwhile County Auditor Deanne Raymond says the interesting thing about the early voting that took place this year in a Presidential election was the amount of people that preferred coming to the rotunda area of the Courthouse to cast an early vote compared to years past when the majority of people wanted their ballots via the mail.
