The YWCA is conducting a symbolic gesture on the grounds of the Marshall County Courthouse in downtown Marshalltown. The entity received permission from the County Board of Supervisors Tuesday to put mini flags down to symbolic victims of domestic violence in the area during a Week Without Violence event now through Monday of next week. The flags have been placed not far from the statue of Henry Anson.
