With a bit of pomp and circumstance the Marshalltown Public Library opened on Sunday for a three hour time frame for the first time in a long time yesterday. The Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were there to mark the ocassion and a red ribbon was cut. Marshalltown Mayor Jim Lowrance also made some remarks. Attendance was good for the Sunday hours despite a warm, breezy day. Patrons were given a commemorative magnate to put on their refrigerators at home. Library hours on Sundays will be fron one p-m to four p-m.
