MHS Homecoming Game is Tonight

The Marshalltown High School Homecoming King for 2016 is Sam Brintnall and the Homecoming Queen is Aspen Chadderdon. The royalty was crowned at a ceremony that included a pep rally at the Roundhouse in Marshalltown Thursday evening. A festive parade through downtown Marshalltown was held to celebrate Homecoming Thursday night. The Marshalltown Police Department’s vintage 1966 squad car lead the way, the new School Superintendent Doctor Theron Schutte rode in a convertible near the front of the line wearing an MHS hat and school colors. There was great weather for the parade Thursday night before the rains came. The Homecoming game is Friday night at Leonard Cole Field. Airtime on KFJB and is 7:05 p.m. The opponent is Waterloo West with a record of 3-0, the Bobcats are 1-2. The Homecoming Dance will be held tomorrow night in the school cafeteria at 8:00 p.m.
