The Marshall County Crime Stoppers organization has reached the mile stone of its first birthday having been organized and unveiled a year ago on September 1st in Marshalltown. The crime-fighting effort offers people a chance to offer crime tips without making their name known via a phone call, a texted tip, or the submission of a tip via the Crime Stoppers website. Organizers say the effort has been successful and will likely continue to grow in terms of use and the subsequent solving of crimes one by one.
