The Cardinals pulled out a 4-3 win at Philadelphia on Randal Grichuk’s RBI double in the top of the 11th. Grichuk also homered for the Redbirds, who were two outs from a 3-1 loss until Jedd Gyorko smacked a two-run homer to extend the game. Gyorko and Grichuk helped St. Louis stay 2 ½ games ahead of Miami for the final NL wild-card berth.
