The Linn Creek Arts Festival is the big event of the day in Marshalltown. The event is being held at the Fisher Community Center. Arts related events are being held for those of all ages. Numerous vendors are on hand, locally and nationally. A Party in Downtown Marshalltown is being held at the end of today`s festival in the downtown Marshalltown area. Among the highlights will be music from a band called Route 66 and the announcement of the winner of a door arts competition that was held to spruce up the downtown Marshalltown area.
