(Des Moines, IA) – A man convicted of vehicular homicide in the crash that killed his girlfriend was back in court today. Troy Mure was sentenced to the maximum, 15 years behind bars for the death of his girlfriend, Scalicity Perez. Police say, Mure was driving over 90 miles an hour when he crashed his car into a light pole last November…killing the young woman. Mure claims he was being chased by a group of men.
