(Ames, IA) – Police in Ames are dealing with another rash of vandalism in their city. This time 18 vehicles parked along city streets or in driveways were targeted. Police say, residents woke up Monday morning to find their car windows smashed and tires slashed. The incidents happened in the areas of Truman Place, the 2200 block of McKinley and the 2300 block of Melrose. Anyone with information is being asked to call Ames Police.
