There was a bit of rainfall on Thursday morning for Marshalltown. As of press time the rainfall total was 18 hundreths of an inch. The drought watchers are saying every little bit helps the crops. The weather appears to be moderating after a two plus week stretch of warmer than normal weather for the month of June which is winding down.
