(Jefferson, IA) – A Fort Dodge woman is behind bars on charges of child endangerment after she left two of her children at a Casey’s Gas Station in Jefferson. Police say, 35-year-old LaToya Watkins left her two young boys at the gas station and then took off with her daughter. Police caught up with Watkins at a grocery store. The children have been taken into protective custody.
