(Des Moines, IA) – Des Moines Police are investigating the tragic death of an infant who was left in a hot car this weekend. It happened Saturday afternoon. Police say, the six-month old boy was left locked in a hot car for hours, while his father was inside a barber shop. According to reports, the child died in the car. Police arrested 36-year-old Lance Williams. He’s been charged with Child Endangerment resulting in death. Williams is behind bars in the Polk County Jail, on a 25-thousand-dollar cash bond.
