The Marshalltown high school baseball team was swept on the road by West Des Moines Valley with scores of of 11 – 1 and 8 – 7. There record is now 5-3 on the year. Meanwhile the softball team was swept by Valley by identical scores of 10-0. The girls soccer team lost to Cedar Rapids Kennedy in a playoff game by the score of 3-0. Tonight the softball team will make up a game by hosting Ottumwa in a game here in Marshalltown that will begin at 6:00 p.m.
