Good Morning Kix Country!

This morning LeRoy and I started talking about the throwback item that he can’t wait to get his hands on, the Hi-C Ecto Cooler! If you are above the age of 30 you might remember this from the first go round of Ghostbusters movies and TV shows. It is a super sugary juice type drink and they are bringing it back to promote the new Ghostbusters movie that is coming out soon.

We got to talking about making a cocktail out of it and it turns out that someone has already done that. Go figure.

DISCLAIMER!!! This cocktail recipe is for when you don’t want to share your Ecto Cooler with your kids. Buy extra and tell them to get their own!

Slimer’s Ecto Cooler recipe

1/2 oz coconut rum
1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1/2 oz melon liqueur
1 splash Sprite® soda
