Defending champion Nevada won in the semi final round of the girls state basketball tournament at Des Moines, beating Center Point Urbana Thursday night by the score of 47-41 in Class 3A competition. The Cubs are 23-3 and will take on top ranked Pocahontas Area Saturday afternoon at four p-m at the Wells Fargo arena.
