A southeast Iowa woman has died after a farm accident inside a livestock pen. Ruth Hoskins died Saturday after she and her husband, John Hoskins, tried to hook a grain wagon to a utility vehicle. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says John Hoskins was backing the vehicle closer to the wagon so Ruth Hoskins could attach the equipment. He accidentally pushed the accelerator, causing the vehicle to strike his wife.
