Donovon Jack scored 19 points on 8 of 9 shooting as Penn State knocked off fourth-ranked Iowa 79-75. Shep Garner and Brandon Taylor had 18 points apiece for the Nittany Lions, who had dropped five of their previous six before beating a ranked team for the second time in two weeks.
The Hawkeyes pulled within three on Peter Jok’s 3-pointer in the final seconds, but Penn State clinched the win by going 11-for-12 at the line in the final 1:25. Jok scored a game-high 28 points for Iowa.
